The Challenge
The company had meticulously prepared six apps for launch in the next few months, one after another. They had an in-house team of designers and copywriters, but they were overwhelmed with daily tasks and the additional workload of six new app launches. To alleviate the pressure, they found me, a contract designer to join their team until the apps were ready to be released to the public.
Process
I quickly learned the work ethics and adapted to the new role. From day one, I contributed new illustrations, layouts, animations, and marketing material for their app launch marketing. The project was fast-paced and demanding attention to detail. My daily tasks included creating illustrations, motion graphics, mockups, iconography and layouts for various platforms in multiple versions for A/B testing.
Solution
In 6 months, we launched all of the 6 apps as planned and within deadlines. For this successful launch, I designed storyboards, concepts, illustrations, digital ad graphics, app mockups, motion ad graphics, logo animations, and iconography of around 2,500 assets.
